Rasmus Degnbol (b. 1983).
Rasmus is an award winning visual artist and photojournalist focusing on worldwide political issues. He is a masterclass mentee at VII Photo Agency in New York (2014-2015) and a member of REDUX Pictures agency in New York since 2016. He’s one of the pioneers in photojournalism using drone photography to tell stories.
He works with primarily with his own long term projects and is mainly known for pushing the limits of what photography is and can do as a storytelling tool.
Through the last 17 years Rasmus have worked on refining his photography skills “with clients all over the world and a good eye for the newest trends in commercial and editorial photography he have developed his vision and style.” Good storytelling is all about human emotion and connection is one of his beliefs. Nothing beats a good story, and a good story is better remembered and leave a mark.
He works for international media clients like New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Bloomberg, Economist and likewise and is known for his hardworking mindset and always delivers on time.

Are you available for international assignments?
Yes- I do travel for assignments. Almost half of my year is spent abroad for international clients.
How much do you charge pr. day?
There is no simple answer to this. It depends where, when and how many continious days. I am not cheap, but also not crazy expensive, I work on flatrate pricing, meaning what we agree is what you get invoiced- I dont work on an hourly rate, so we both dont have to count hours, but only focus on getting the best possible visual imagery. A rough figure is 2000EUR pr. day when doing commercial photography, and 1000EUR for media related imagery.
How to do handle GDPR?
Today everyone has a camera, and everyone is being photographed nonstop. As a professional I strongly believe in the right to not be photographed and published, and I honour peoples wish as such. To make sure to get consent I use GetConnie which is a smart app based consent software. Please note that this is for commercial work only, whereas photos and video for media is a different approach.
For how long do you keep back of your files?
As long as I can. Right now I sit on everything I have since 2007, thats well over 2 million photos, and about 70 Terrabytes of video material. This backup service is all includes when working with me. All the material is stored safely online, meaning that you and your team can gain access quickly should you need it.
