Amina, 65- shows where it hurts in her joints due to 19 days without food or water. She arrived at Shah Porir Dwip on a makeshift raft. They arrived during night and was beaten by local BGB Officer. “All who looked like an adult was beaten with a large stick”. Amina Arrived along with 24 others. They were stuck outside the Myanmar borderfence at Dhaonkhalia for 19 days, and having no money to pay the smugglers they collected bottles from the ocean over 7 days to make their raft and succesfully crossed. This is the second time Amina has fled her home to Bangladesh
